Pre-registration is open
Starting today, research teams, funds and builders can pre-register for Finance Data Cloud. Pre-registered partners get early access to our first venue and pre-sale pricing, and they get a say in what we build next.
We have spent the past year building capture infrastructure and recording Hyperliquid from two regions, and most of this year building the normalization layer that turns raw venue messages into one schema. That work is far enough along that we can put dates on the first release. So we are opening pre-registration now, well before anything is for sale, because the people who register will shape the order in which the rest arrives.
What pre-registering means
The form asks who you are, which plan you are likely to need, and which venues and datasets matter most to you. Pre-registering costs nothing and does not commit you to buy. I read every submission, and either I or Chris Smith, my co-founder, will get in touch to understand what you are working on.
Who it is for
The people we have talked to most this year fall into four groups. Quant funds want history they can trust and a live stream that matches it field for field. Market makers care about L3 and L4, queue position and latency. Academic researchers need clean, documented data at a price a grant can cover. Builders want an API that behaves the same way on every venue. If you recognize yourself in one of those, the form will take about three minutes.
What pre-registered partners get
- Early access. Hyperliquid data is targeted for early access in Q1 2027 and general availability in Q2 2027. Partners get in first: trades, full depth, funding and L4 order flow, plus the extended fields.
- Pre-sale pricing. Partners who sign before general availability pay 40% below list for their first 12 months.
- A say in the order. Venue and dataset requests from partners decide what moves up the list in Phase 2 and beyond.
| Plan | List | Pre-sale | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Researcher | $650/mo | $390/mo | Historical archive with extended fields, REST and S3, 1 user |
| Desk | $2,400/mo | $1,440/mo | Researcher plus L3 and L4, live WebSocket stream, 5 users, 99.9% stream uptime SLA |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | All datasets including chain intelligence, firm-wide users, Tokyo cross-connect |
Accredited university researchers get 80% off the Researcher plan for historical data. If that is you, pre-register with the academic option. Full plan details are on the pricing page.
What happens after you register
Within a week you will hear from one of us. For most partners that is a short email confirming the plan and the venues you flagged. If your use case needs something unusual, such as a venue we have not scheduled, a dataset outside the coverage matrix or a delivery arrangement for a large team, we will ask for a 30-minute call.
Between now and early access, partners receive schema drafts before they are published, short notes when a roadmap date moves, and the chance to review documentation while it is still easy to change. When the API goes live in Phase 1, partners get keys first. Test keys return a 24-hour sample of every dataset on the plan, so you can wire up your code before the full archive opens.
Where things stand
We are a team of five. Priya Raman runs capture in Tokyo and Ireland. Maya Okafor owns the normalization layer and the schema. Lukas Brandt is building the APIs, the live stream and replay. Chris handles product and partnerships, and I spend most of my time on research and with the people we are building for.
Today, no venues are live. Hyperliquid has been recorded internally since November 2025, and most of our research runs on that archive, including a study of extended fields and short-horizon direction that we will publish before the end of the month. The capture and normalization pipeline is being built out for production. The API specification is a draft, and next week Maya will publish the draft schema for comment.
The sequence
Dates are targets. If one slips, partners will hear it from us before anyone else does. The full plan to 2029 is on the roadmap.
Why ask now
Somebody has to decide which venue, dataset and field we build next. We want that decision to follow what partners ask for, and pre-registration is how we collect those requests early enough to act on them. Requests that arrive after Phase 2 is scoped will still count, but they will count for Phase 3.
